Is it free?
Reaching out and getting guidance costs nothing. Some programs may ask for a small, honest contribution — never more than you can give, and never a barrier to getting help.
Is it private?

Will I be judged?
No. We are women, for women and families. We listen first, and we meet you where you are — whatever has happened.
Do I have to be a member?
No. You don't need to be a member to get help. Membership is a way to support and shape the organization, not a condition for being supported by it. About membership →
What languages do you work in?
We work in French and Lingala — the languages of the home — because rights you can't understand are rights you can't use. You're welcome to write or speak to us in your own words.
What is mediation — and when is it not appropriate?
Mediation is a calm, confidential, voluntary way to resolve a family conflict with the help of a neutral, trained woman jurist — without the cost and damage of court. How do I get help?

Are you religious or political?
No. Muasi Telema is non-confessional and non-partisan by our statutes. We don't preach a religion or take a political side — we help women and families with the law, mediation, support and skills.
